Social Media Epinon

Ok, i am kinda tired of reading these articles, though i see how it pertains to this class. Its just that in my two prior English classes this subject seems to come up. This Societal issue with technology and social media is an extension of a problem mankind has had since the neo-lithic era. "Why are we here?". Early in civilization things were easy. Survive was the main goal. Then the goal was to build, and then conquer. Then make things easier. Now most humans have fallen in line and just want to be part of the “in crowd” and hope that you can get a little fame. Loved how in the “A Defining Question” article, Jack white comments on everybody taking pictures and video vice enjoying. I pretty sure people took pics and video and posted to Facebook. Really this means “look what I am doing and please tell me it’s cool”. I must say something are important to capture, but balance is the key, as always. Zen, Buddhism and a bunch of other ideologies have been trying to show people, why we are here, what we should be doing and even how to do it. Easily!! The Buddha said “life is suffering” and gave steps so life won’t suck. Most people get that life can suck, but the way to beat that is to capture the moments that don’t stuck and stay there, where it doesn’t suck. Stay in that little screen.
